Well, this is ANOTHER blog I am creating. Let's see if I can keep this one going. I have actually thought about creating 2 blogs, one for "stuff" (crafts, give-aways, and all kinds of miscellaneous stuff) and this one, which I'm hoping to be kind of a journal, of sorts. I wonder if anyone will ever read it!
Our family: 5 children, 3 in-laws, 5 grandchildren and growing...... the families include:
Myranda (the oldest) and Justin, whose family consists of Titus (4 years old), Tatum (16 months old) and Abram (5 weeks old). They live in Georgetown, Kentucky.
Afton (the next) and Adam, whose family consists of Amalie (2 years old), and Ayris (2 weeks old). They live in Russell, Kentucky.
Zach is the oldest boy and he is married to Aliza. They have been married for almost 2 years, have no children yet and both serve honorably in the US Air Force. They are currently stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California.
Christopher is next. After serving an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California, Ventura Spanish speaking Mission, he is currently going to college at Brigham Young University Idaho, in Rexburg, Idaho.
Michael is the youngest. After living in Kentucky with us for 3 years, he decided he had had enough of the cold and snow and he moved back to Florida (smart boy) and is enrolling in Palm Beach State college to study sports medicine.
Well, that's the fam in a nut shell.
Now, what we are up to! REXBURG here I come!!! On Saturday, 4/23, I will be headed out to Idaho, by way of Salt Lake City to visit with Christopher for a week. I have not been to Rexburg and since I don't know how much longer Chris is going to be there, decided I better head out and see where he's been living for the past 3 years. I'm very excited to be going, mostly to be able to spend a week with Chris!!!
Dirk is staying home this trip, but when I return from Rexburg, he and I will then head to California and spend a week with Zach and Aliza. They have been in California for about 2 years and will probably be transferred soon, so this is the perfect time to go.
We are so thankful to our loving Heavenly Father for all the wonderful family He has blessed us with. We love Him and are thankful to be able to serve Him in what ever we are asked to do. I know that He lives and loves each of us and that one day we can return to His presence for all eternity. I know that Jesus Christ was chosen as our Savior and that he willingly came to earth to show us the way back to our Father in Heaven and for that I will always be eternally grateful.
