Castello di Amorosa

Our gracious hostess Aliza took us to this castle about an hour from Suisun City. It was breathtaking!!! Afterwards, we had lunch at this very quaint "Farmstead" restaurant. The food was superb!!! And then we got a tour of Travis Air Force base where Zach and Aliza are stationed!!!
In the evening, Zach and Dirk went to another Giant's game, leaving the girls home to do whatever girls do. We went to the movies!!

Up next, downtown San Francisco and then Sausalito and Muir Woods!!

Oakland Temple

Tuesday, Dirk and I made it to the Oakland Temple. Wow, the sites around the temple were amazing and the temple itself, well, what can I say??? Interesting note about the Oakland Temple, no Angel Moroni on it. How many of you knew that??

Jelly Belly Factory

OK, so about 15 minutes from Suisun City, in Fairfield, CA, is the home of the JELLY BELLY FACTORY!!! Can you even imagine how excited I was??? Of course, Dirk and I had to go tour! It was awesome, all the free jelly belly's you could taste test!!! And the artwork, made out of Jelly Belly jelly beans, well, take a look for yourself!!!

California (day 2)

On Sunday, Dirk and I found a great church to attend, then we came home and the four of us went to a really neat Arts & Crafts show in the park on the water within walking distance of the house. I didn't take pictures this day, but it was absolutely beautiful. If I ever happen to move to California, I will move to Suisun City and live in one of the houses right on the water. OH MAN was it nice!! The Greek restaurant where we had lunch was amazing!!

California Baby (day 1)

Ok, so we made it to California, 4 days after coming home from Idaho. (Boy was I
tired!!). The first day, we went sight seeing in San Francisco, had lunch at this great little pizza place called ZA's and then went to a Giant's baseball game. Lots of fun, great night!!

Rexburg and Such

OK, so I was going to do a great job with blogging and get this post up, oh, say in April, when I was actually IN Rexburg, but, hey, better late than never, right?? Boy do I have a lot of catching up to do!!!

The week in Rexburg with Chris was wonderful. We did so many fun things!!

First, Cally, Chris and I went to a Body Exhibit in Idaho Falls. It was AMAZING! Cally is studying to be a nurse, so it was extra perfect for her. Wow, who could know so much about the body. If you ever have the chance to see an exhibit like this, DO IT!!! You will not be disappointed.
(Cally, by the way, is Chris' GF, although, at the time, only friends!!)

The next day, I got to spend at the campus of BYU Idaho. I haven't been to college in years and it was kinda fun. I spend the morning in the library while Chris was sleeping, er studying... and then I went to class with him. It was an ___________ class, which is just a great way to say "Made you think!!"

I really enjoyed it and actually, on Thursday, got to go again with him.

Wednesday, Chris didn't have class so we went sight seeing. All the pictures posted are from that trip. One day I will actually be able to figure this blog stuff out and get the pictures where I want them. But for now, the pictures above are them!!!

On Thursday, my friend Deannie and I went to the Rexburg Temple!! WOOHOO

Friday, we left Rexburg and drove back to Salt Lake City for the weekend. On Saturday, Jon and Chris and I went sightseeing on Temple Square.
